Bugambilia Blanca vacation house and condos is in the popular Romantic Zone, or Zona Romantica, on the south side of Puerto Vallarta close to Olas Altas street with it's great village like feel and ambiance, putting you right in the middle of all the great places to go. My, now sadly ex, partner Simon Tonkin and I stumbled upon Bugambilia Blanca in 1998, during our third visit to Puerto Vallarta in less then ten months (Vallarta is magical isn't it), and we just knew we had to make Bugambilia Blanca our own. Simon and I both loved staying in the Zona Romantica, compared to our earlier stays across town in the Hotel Zone, because of the wonderful small town, community ambiance; a hive of activity and charm that gives you a so much more authentic flavour of Mexico than a stay in an all inclusive hotel. And with all the wonderful places to visit just waiting to be discovered who knows what a walk around the neighborhood will bring you too.
So back to Bugambilia Blanca, which was designed by local architect Jose Jorge Prieto Castellanos and built in that more traditional Mexican Colonial style with large rooms, those wonderful terracotta tile floors and charm in abundance. There is only one condo on each level of Bugambilia Blanca and each level has a lovely breezeway terrace where you can sit, relax, look out to the ocean and enjoy the spectacular views and those heavenly breezes that just waft right in from the ocean. Awesome. The appealing architectural style of the property, combined with a great location for both beach and town, keeps Bugambilia Blanca visitors returning to Puerto Vallarta and our vacation rentals for their south side Vallarta holidays. It was discovering Bugambilia Blanca back in 1998 that caused Simon and I to up and leave London and move to magical Puerto Vallarta, but we'll save THAT story for another time...
